Dani del Rosario was born May 1945 in the Philippines. He died on the evening of November 11, 2021. Dani passed away peacefully from heart complications, surrounded by his family and after hearing the voices of his siblings. He fell in love with his wife Lulu when they were in United Methodist Youth Fellowship. He followed her across the world and won her heart over with his sense of humor, deep faith and dedication.
He loved spending time with his family, teaching Sunday school and singing in the church choir. Dani is survived by his wife Lulu, children Joyce Lynn, Daniel Joshua (DJ) and wife Elaine along with three granddaughters Sage, Hazel, and Scarlett.
Dani and Lulu enjoyed 50 years of marriage together. He loved to travel with his family. Early in life he would pack the family van and drive across Canada and the United States. Later in life, he would take the family on trips around the world together. He was Wesleyan through and through. He often told us that we could be sick for school, but never for church. He could often be seen at church in a choir robe or a Seahawks jersey.
Dani valued education, faith and family. He graduated from the University in the Philippines. Later in life he earned a masters degree from City University. One of his biggest priorities was for his children and granddaughters to earn degrees and serve the Lord. We will forever be grateful for his life, sacrifices and love.
A memorial service for Dani will be held at Bothell United Methodist Church on November 20th, 2pm. The service will be live-streamed via Facebook with details to follow.
