Dennis Gabriel Schafer

Dennis Gabriel Schafer was born on August 21, 1935 to Nicholas and Mary Schafer in Glen Ullin, North Dakota. He passed away on January 9, 2016 in Burien, Washington. Dennis graduated from Glen Ullin High School. Dennis Gabriel Schafer and Delaphine Estella Lennick were married on October 15, 1954. They had had four boys; Dennis Jr, Delton, Denton and Daylen. Dennis worked at Kenworth Trucking.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Delaphine and son, Dennis Jr. He is survived by his sons, Delton (Sharon) of Seattle, Denton (Lori) of Seattle, Daylen (Tina) of Mountlake Terrace; grandchildren, Tasha, Delton, Jr, Jessica, Desiree, Beau, Gabe, Coe and Demi and great grandchildren, JJ, Caden, Gavin, Drayden, Colby, Ava, Morgan, Gabrielle, Auric and Madilynn.

A visitation will be held will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 from 9:00am to 11:00am followed by a funeral service at 11:00am at Yarington’s Funeral Home, 10708 16th Ave. SW Seattle, WA 98146, (206)-242-2771.
