

Bruce was born in Seaford, Delaware along with his younger brother William Kelley Wright. His mother's name was Anna Jane Williams and his father's name was Earl G. Wright.
Bruce met his future wife Patricia Ann Putnam on February 4th 1954 at the Presidio Service Men's Club. They dated for 2 years and announced their engagement on June 18th, 1956.
Bruce married Pat on August 4, 1956 at 2:00pm at the "Old Mission Church" in San Luis Obispo. They had eloped and brought their two friends Shirley Albury and Nick Karkas with them as witnesses. Newlywed's Mr. & Mrs. Wright spent their honeymoon at Ross's Grandview Hotel and ate their first breakfast together at the Bee Hive Café the next day. Dinner was at the Capri Supper Club. The lived in Downey, California for 2 years.
In 1958 they moved back up north to Sunnyvale, California where they raised their 2 daughters Elaine and Charlotte. In 1979 Pat & Bruce moved farther north where they lived together in the Seattle, Washington area for 34 years. In 2014 Pat died of lung cancer. Bruce never dated or remarried as he longed for his bride. "A love so deep, the ocean would be jealous." Bruce is now reunited with Pat and our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven.
Bruce loved our country, was a patriot and served in the United States Army. Bruce graduated from Cal Poly Technical College, San Louis Obispo, CA with a BS in Engineering. Notable accomplishments were serving on the design team for the Polaris Missile, Agina Satellite, The Bradley Fighting Vehicle, Boeing 747 and 767 Airplanes.
Bruce enjoyed gardening and cooking with Pat.
Bruce is survived by his two daughters, 3 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, one son-in-law, extended family and friends.

October 27, 1953 - September 9, 1955: U.S Army SP3 521st Engineering Company. Honorable Discharge. Awarded National Defense Service Medal.
February 4, 1954: Bruce met Pat, Presidio Service Men's Club.
1955 - 1957: Army Reserve.
1955 - 1956: Graduated Cal Poly Tech 1956 BS Engineering. Major: Aeronautical engineering. Minor: Mechanical engineering.
August 4, 1956, 2:00pm: Married Pat at the "Old Mission Church" in San Luis Obispo.
1956 - 1957: North American Aviation, Downey, CA Engineer.
1957 - 1958: Douglas Aircraft, Santa Monica, CA Engineer.
1958: Moved to Sunnyvale, CA. Daughter Elaine was born.
1958 - 1969: Lockheed Aircraft. Senior Design Engineer. Design team for the Polaris Missile and Agina Missile Systems Division.
1962: Daughter Charlotte was born.
1969 - 1972: Self Employed Sub Contractor.
1972 - 1973: Carco Electronics. Engineer.
1973 - 1979: FMC. Senior Design Engineer. Design team for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle.
1979 - Moved to Washington State.
1979 - 1995: Boeing Aircraft. Design team for the 747 and 767.
1997 - 2002: Sicma Aeroseat. Design Engineer.
February 9, 2014: Pat goes to Heaven.
January 11, 2018: Bruce is reunited in Heaven with Pat.
