It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, but we are happy that she is with the Lord and her husband of 52 years, Harley. Elaine was born in Ranger, Texas and moved with her family at a young age to Seattle where she graduated from Broadway High School in 1940. Elaine retired from the Boeing Co. where she was a lead in the Safety Division. Elaine loved to travel to Hawaii and Mexico. She was an avid reader and enjoyed working in her garden. She was an inspiration to all of us. She was blessed with two surviving sons, Michael (Vicki) and Harley (Michele), along with 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. For many years, Leo Marchand has played an important role in Elaine's life. They supported one another in good times and bad. A special "Thank You" to Annie Zumwalt for taking care of mom for many months.
