Eve Gertrude BENNETT, age 87, of Seattle, passed away on May 1, 2009. She was born in Bryson City, North Carolina on July 16, 1921. Eve is survived by her son, Paul L. Croom & wife Sherry; grandchildren, Debbie Hinton, Philip Croom, Brent Croom; 7 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, brother, Lawrence Hyatt and sister, Lucille. Eve is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 9th at Grace Church, 10323 - 28th Ave. SW, Seattle, WA 98146. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Eve's memory to Breast Cancer Research. Private interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Park, Seattle.
