She was born June 15, 1911, died April 26, 2001. Fern was born in Ammon/Idaho Falls. She was the daughter of Elmo and Rosa Maybelle Southwick Sant. Fern was joined by four broth ers, Claude, Roy, Gene, and Lane. They have all preceded her in death. She graduated from Garfield High School in 1929. She married Anton Joseph Losse ''AJ'' on November 7, 1933. She has five children, Don, Sharon, Dennis, Doug, and Doyle who all survive her. Two grandsons D. Lane and Chad Losse predeceased her also. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Fern was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her love of music and singing was her lifelong passion. She sang contralto with the Philomel Singers of Seattle. Fern also served in many callings in the church over the years. She served a mission for the church in 1988 in Salt Lake City. Services will be held at the Seattle Stake Center, 5701 8th N.E. on Tuesday, May 1, 2001 at 1 p.m.
