He was born in Chuquibamba, Peru, on August 27, 1940. He spent his early years in Peru, joined the Peruvian Army, and started a family. In 1977, he brought his family to the United States, where he lived and raised them in New Jersey for over 30 years.
Florencio enjoyed watching fútbol, staying active, and going for walks as often as possible. After retiring, he traveled back and forth to Peru and spent his final days in Seattle, Washington.
He was a devoted father who loved his family deeply—and was deeply loved in return.
A memorial service for Florencio will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Butterworth Funeral Home - Arthur A Wright Chapel & Queen Anne Columbarium, 520 W Raye St, Seattle, Washington.
