Ka-Soot Frances was born into the Alaska Tlingit Nation rich in tradition. Her family crest is the Eagle moiety and she hails from the Chookaneidei Clan and comes thru the Iceberg House. As a child Ka-Soot had the privilege to live the old way of life in Glacier Bay, Alaska before the U.S. Government took their land away. She valiantly battled Tuberculosis as a teenager and went on to marry Frank L. Fulmer in 1951 and was blessed to become a wonderful loving mother to six children. She is survived by her daughters, Francine D. Magee, Sharon K. Fulmer and Darlene J. Cook and her sons Frank L. Fulmer, Jr., Fred L. Fulmer and Floyd L. Fulmer. Ka-Soot passed away in her sleep at home from heart complications and respiratory problems. Ka-Soot?s Spirit now shimmers brightly in Heavenly Father?s Celestial Kingdom while her body rests at Evergreen-Washelli Cemeteries & Funeral Home. We love you Ka-Soot.
