Gerald Alfred Tipp lived a life defined by charisma, resilience, devotion, and unmistakable presence. Born on July 15, 1941, he carried himself from an early age with the charm and confidence that would later make him a legend in both business and in life.
Gerald was a man who embraced the world fully. In the 1960s, he traveled to Hawaii and began working alongside his father, “Jerry,” in the jewelry business — a family legacy that spans more than 125 years. What began as tradition became passion. In time, Gerald forged his own path, building a name and reputation that stood strong within the industry. Vendors respected him. Clients trusted him. Many became lifelong friends. His eye for beauty, his instinct for opportunity, and his gift for connection set him apart.
He loved his business, but even more, he loved his family.
Gerald adored each one of his children. His love was constant, proud, and deeply felt. He carried his role as a father with intensity and devotion, and those who knew him understood that beneath his strong exterior lived a man whose heart was vast.
For the last 25 years, Gerald shared his life with his beloved wife, Susan Tipp. Susan was a bright and steady light in his world — kind, loving, and caring for the man we all loved so dearly. Their partnership brought comfort, companionship, and strength to his later years.
Gerald lived boldly. He traveled, he built, he persevered, and he left an undeniable imprint on every room he entered. He possessed a rare magnetism — the kind that made stories larger, laughter louder, and life richer.
Though he has left this world on February 18, 2026, he has not left our hearts. We carry forward his lessons, his drive, his love, and his unmistakable spirit. Each of us holds a beautiful piece of him within our hearts and souls.
He will be missed beyond measure — remembered with admiration, gratitude, and enduring love.
