
Harold passed away quietly at home on March 19, 2004. He was born May 1, 1927 to Edna and Forrest Berry in Lincoln, Nebraska. He moved to Seattle at a very young age. He attended Seattle Public Schools and graduated from Garfield High School. Harold was employed by The City of Seattle and retired with 38 years of service. He was a Lifetime member of the Royal Esquire Club. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church until his health failed him. Harold was preceded in death by his mother and father, Edna and Forrest Berry; brother, Edward Berry and two sisters, Forrestine Berry and Mabel Myrick. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Elean, whom he adored; two sisters, Mary Berry and Harriet Damper Eugene both of Seattle; two sister-in-laws, Coleaner Burton of Compton, CA, and Faye Thompson of Shreveport, LA; one brother-in-law, Sherman Cottingham Willette of Macomb, MI, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. Visitation Tuesday, March 23, 10:00AM-8:00PM and Funeral Service Wednesday, March 24, 10:00AM; all at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home 11111 Aurora Ave n. Seattle. Committal, Evergreen Memorial Park.
