Helen was preceded in death by her husband Gordon of 52 years, her father Gust Kindel, Mother Nanny (Johanson) Kindel, sister Frances Kindel, brothers Howard Kindel, and Floyd Kindel.
She is survived by her children Donna (John) Tobias and Dennis Gifford, grandchildren Teresa Nelson, Sandra Bowhay, Brandon Gifford and Cherie Quist. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Max, Nathan, Korbin, Makiya, Payton, Tyler, Olivia, Cody, Casey, and Carrie. She is also survived by her three siblings Melvin Kindel, Kenneth Kindel and Alice Tobey.

Funeral Information
A funeral service will be held for her at Evergreen Washelli funeral home on Sunday, October 2, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Abbey View Cemetery. There will be a viewing held the day before at the funeral home from 10-5.
