Helen Marie Nelson, 99, of Kenmore, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016. She was born November 12, 1916 in Seattle, WA, the daughter of the late Oliver E. and Caroline M. (McMichael) Bakken. Helen was an artist. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Bach, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, a niece and four nephews. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Gaeel Nelson and her daughter, Bonnie Powell. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Brookdale Kenmore and Providence Hospice.
