Howard Berry

In 1946, Howard married the love of his life, Arletha Ward. In 1954 Howard, Arletha and their children moved to Seattle, later adding three more children to the family.

Howard served in the U.S. Navy, and retired after 28 years of service.

Howard is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Arletha Berry; daughters, Audrey, Charlene and Michelle (Richard); sons, Howard Jr., Reginald (Sharon), Fred (Brenda) of Modesto, CA, David (Gina) and Albert (Leatrice); fifteen grandchildren, Portia, Gina (Elias), Sacha (Sherman), Amica (deceased), Leondis, Daniel, Jereme, Michelle, Tashiona(Charles), Phillip, Sasha, Amanda, Achijah, Myeshia, and Natalie, Yolanda, Mary and Reginald; twenty great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Mildred Hall and Carrie Berry; and dear friend Louise Davis, and a number of other relatives and close friends.

Viewing to be held on Friday June 2, 2017 from 9am to 8pm at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave. N, Seattle, WA 98133. A Funeral service in his honor will take place on Saturday June 3, 2017 at 11:00am at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, 2801 S. Jackson Street, Seattle WA with graveside and repast to follow.
