Igmedio Daquil Sr. passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 27. A US Coast Guard veteran of 24 years, Chief Daquil served honorably on USCG ships in the four corners of the US (Hawaii, Florida, Massachusetts, Alaska). He loved hunting, fishing, dancing, and cooking for his family and friends. Igmedio is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Leonor; his children Ginny (Bill), Violet (Jim) and Roy (Brenda); his grandchildren Bryan (Kristina), Taryn, Sydney and Taylor; and many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, and long-time friends. Igmedio joins his oldest son Igmedio Jr (“JR”), son-in-law Jim, and siblings Cristeta, Cobina, Renato, Paulino, and Liling.
Services for Igmedio will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133: 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Rosary, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM Visitation, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Funeral Service, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Reception
