

Irene Louise Kulien was born October 31, 1931 in Milaca Minnesota to Nellie Augusta Johnson (McColley) and Harold Adrian Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her Step Father Smiley (Clarence) Fitzgerald and her three brothers, Douglas Johnson, Howard Johnson and Wallace Fitzgerald. She moved to Seattle Washington in the early 1950's where she met her husband Odin Anders Kulien. They were married in Silver Creek, Washington on October 6, 1956. She is survived by her three children, Mark Kulien and wife Rochelle, Linda Pomeroy and husband Stuart and Pamela Rochard and wife Michelle. She is survived by her grandchildren, Theresa Phommathep, Matthew Johnson, Derick Pomeroy and Mallory Pomeroy. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Kelsey Johnson, her beloved Step Father Smiley, her grandson Daniel Phommathep and her husband, Odin. She has seven great grandchildren, Isabelle Phommathep, Austin Phommathep, Makayla Phommathep, Jonathan Samuals, Rayann Vasquez, Meyah Pomeroy and Haley Buffon. She has many Nieces, Nephews and friends who she loved so very much.
Everyone who knew Irene would describe her as endlessly kind and having a loving acceptance for all people. Irene will be missed by the many people who she touched during her life and now she has the privilege of eternal life with family and friends. We will all look forward to seeing her again.
