
Born April 30, 1926 - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family June 12, 2001.
Educated at the Bush School, Colorado College where she joined the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in Boston and graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Business and Economics.
Jackie enjoyed many years of volunteer work. She believed if you joined an organization you should contribute active years to it and try to leave it a better place than when you joined. She started her volunteer work with the Junior League in Seattle. She was also active for many years in the Seattle YWCA and Seattle Visiting Nurse. Jackie was an active member of the Sunset Club, Seattle Tennis Club, Useless Bay Golf Club and the Seattle Golf Club. She was a past President of the National Society of the Colonial Dames in the State of Washington. She was a member of the Minnie Fortson Kirk Orthopedic Guild for over 50 years.
Jackie enjoyed world traveling to many places, now not accessible because people can't seem to get along with anyone who has a different philosophy than their own.
Jackie is survived by her husband Albert V. and her children Scott Arnold and Susan Jacqueline Dunlap husband, Albert and her grandchildren Jacqueline Elizabeth Dunlap and Emily Marie Dunlap. Her passions were her family, golf and bridge. She relished spending time with her two granddaughters, loved them very much and will miss them greatly.
