Jim was a doting father with a deep pride for his little girl, Presley Anne, who earned college and basketball scholarships. His unwavering Love supported her in every challenge, opportunity, and achievement.
Jim and I met at the lighting showroom where he worked on 9/26/11; the electricity between us was palpable! He interrupted the business meeting several times to give me his card (I cannot remember how many cards he gave me, but I think it was 4 or 5) and find out when I might come back to provide more training. We had our first date on 10/25/11 and I was smitten from the first moment he walked in the door. On 9/15/12 I was lucky enough to marry my handsome husband at his beloved sister Ronna’s cabin in Brinnon, Wash. on the most majestic day God could have blessed us with.
Jim was a highly regarded lighting expert in the Seattle area, having worked in the industry since he was young at his father’s lighting store and later for 30 years at Seattle Lighting before joining North Coast Lighting. He treated everyone he met – from colleagues to customers – with the utmost respect and delighted all with his irrepressible humor. He was the bright light in so many lives, and will be greatly missed.
