James Dow "Jim" Wright, 85, of Bothell, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014. He was born January 4, 1929 in Dalkeith, Scotland, the son of the late James and Margaret (Hall) Wright. Jim married Annie "Nancy" Young on February 22, 1952 at Chamber's Church, Edinburgh, Scotland. He was a Brick Mason, serving his apprenticeship in Scotland and later gave back to the profession by becoming a leading instructor of the apprentice program in California, U.S.A. Jim was a member of St. Andrews Society, British American Club, Caledonian Club and Local #3 Bricklayer's Union in California. He was a Scottish Tenor and enjoyed singing, dancing, golfing and bicycling. Jim is survived by his wife of 62 years, a daughter, Margaret Brunke, two sons, Alan S. Wright and Ian D. Wright, two grandchildren, Connor Richard Brunke and MacKenzie Hunter Brunke and a sister, Anne Buchanan.
