Jane Loucks

Jan. 1, 1919 to March 20, 2010

Jane was born to Martin and Hazel (Patterson) Anderson at Swedish Hospital in Seattle. She was baptized and confirmed at Gethsemane Lutheran Church and married Harold G. Loucks there also on July 24, 1942. She graduated from Garfield High School and attended the University of Washington.

Jane enjoyed family, genealogy, reading mystery stories, camping, hiking, and rock-hounding while living in CA, and being the family historian. Her patience and kindness were admirable.

She was preceded in death by son, Keith, of Port Orchard in 2003 and brother, Rev. Dr. James Anderson of KS in 1993.

She is survived by her husband of Port Orchard; daughter, Linda Sewell, of Vancouver, WA; daughter-in-law, Linda Loucks of CO; grandchildren Jennifer (Jerald) MacGregor of CO, Gregory Walker and Timothy Walker of CA; great-grandchildren Alexandria and McKinley MacGregor of CO, and Todd Korsmo of Poulsbo; niece Elizabeth Pemberton of NE and nephew Philip Anderson of KS; cousins Ernest Anderson of Seattle, Phyllis Jurkovich of Bainbridge Island, Janice Anderson of Seattle, Idella Clauson of MN and Betty Keller of Seattle; and other loved ones.
