Jean was born Feb. 3, 1918, in Missoula, Montana to Sophia Gibson (later Lynch) and Louis D. Humphreville. She attended and served as a cheerleader at Missoula County High School and graduated in 1938 before moving to Seattle. She married Arthur N.F. Johnson at Seattle's First Name Lutheran Church on March 17,1942 and helped him launch and manage A.N.F. Johnson, a general contracting and remodeling business. They were happily married for 55 years.
Jean had a zest for life and a passion for dogs, especially poodles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, several aunts and uncles and a cousin, Gerald Carley of Missoula, Mont. She is survived by cousins Jo Ann LaDuke Haley of Lake City, Florida, John V. Corra of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Lorraine Corra of Helena, Montana, and Lynn Job of Missoula and their families.
