He was born in Toishan, China and came to the United States in March 1956. Ging Wor worked as a restaurant chef for over 35 years until he retired in 1992. He passed away peacefully with family members by his side.
Ging Wor is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mi Yun; his children, Pei Lan, Alvin and Karen, along with 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Ging Wor will be dearly missed by family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave. N, Seattle, WA 98133
