Joe passed away on July 27, 2012 in Seattle, Washington at the age of 92. He was born on December 23, 1919 in Seattle to parents Ray Fithian and Florence Johnson. He is survived by his wife Celestina "Sally" Morgan, daughter Elaine Hopstad, sisters Shirley Morgan, Geraldine Morgan, June Wallace and Frances Cline, brother Earl Morgan, and grandson Michael Hopstad. Joe bravely served in the U.S. Navy.
