November 3, 1940-October 18, 2003. Passed away in his home in Burien on October 18, 2003. He was born in Seattle, the oldest son of John James Dodds and Ann G. Williamson Dodds. John is survived by his two children, John James Dodds and Elyse Helene Dodds; former wife and mother of his children Barbara Dodds; two brothers Andy Dodds and Bob Dodds, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, three nieces and two nephews. John served in the National Guard for six years. He worked many years as an auto mechanic at Pacific Lincoln Mercury, William O. McKay and Jones-Washington Stevadoring all in Seattle.
