Born in Hamilton, Montana on July 1, 1915. Lived and died in the Seattle area on July 25, 2001. Preceded in death by his loving wife Dorothea M.?Doody? Swanson. Survived by his children John and Sheila Swanson, Kenmore, Wayne and Sandra Hill, Camano Island, Gary and Michele Gallagher, Camano Island, and Gary Bean Swanson, Renton; Grandchildren Staci Swanson, Jeffery Fredrickson, John E. Swanson, Jr., Steve and Jeannie Keim, Julie Hill, Christine Gallagher, Kelly Gallagher, Tarrahan Swanson and Brooke Swanson; Great Grandchildren Jeremy and Christopher Fredrickson, Josie and Jenna Keim; Godchildren, extended family and friends. Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 3rd, 2PM at Maple Leaf Evangelical Church, 1059 NE 96th St., Seattle, WA 98115.
