Joseph Leonard Scott

J. Leonard Scott, age 78 died peacefully at home March 17, 2005 with his daughters by his side.

He was born October 30th, 1929 to William Lee and Leler Scott in

Flatwoods MO. He moved to Seattle as a teenager and met his loving

wife of 51 years, Glendora, who preceded him in death in 1997. He is survived by daughters Pamela Richards and Patty Reimers, grandchildren Scott wife Alison, Clark and Wade Richards, Lindsay and Austin Reimers. Brother Melvin wife Joyce, brother-in laws, Gordon and Floyd wife Barbara, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. Very special friends Frank, Glee, Ken and Virginia.

He founded Scott's Trophy Company in Seattle in 1956. He held close to his heart his involvement with many Masonic, civic and charitable

associations.

He was a life member of Richmond-Haller Lake Lodge #248 and served as Worshipful Master in 1964, 1987 and 1994. He received his 50 year pin from Grand Lodge of F & AM of Wa. A member of Scottish Rite, Nile Temple and the Shrine Club. He was a 25 year member of Seattle Seafair Commodores, past president of Seattle Executives Assoc. and past Commanding General of the Assoc. of Wa. Generals. He was a member of the Whatcom Art Guild, Sandy Point Artist Group and attended United Methodist in Ferndale.

"G-Pa" as he was known to some, lived a a rich life and had many

interests. He enjoyed sharing his home at the beach with friends and

family, his silly jokes and fish stories. He was a diversified artist, an eloquent, faithful, and generous man.

Our family wishes to express sincere thanks to Dr. Xing Wu, Dr. Patrick Nester, their nurses and Hospice for their compassionate care. Thank you nurse Nancy you are primo.

"You truly are in paradise now Dad", we love you and will miss you.

In memory of Leonard, Dad, Grandpa take a walk on a beach and enjoy the sunset.

A Masonic service will be held at 12:00 Friday, March 25, at Evergreen-Washelli, 11111 Aurora Ave. N. - Seattle and a celebration of life at

his home on Saturday, March 26th at 1:00.
