A long time resident of Seattle and native of New Orleans, Louisiana, "Josh" was born 3/10/1921. His parents were Joshua Sanders, Sr. and Jane Burrel of N.O. Louisiana. The last of nine children: Sarah, Jimmy, Henry, Thomas, Ruth, Leo, Alvin, and Emma Sanders, we will greatly miss his generosity, kindness, and loving spirit.
Survived by his daughter Linda G. Sanders and step-son Jerome A. Butler (Patricia) from Seattle, children of his first marriage to Hermenia L. Despinasse; six step-children from his second marriage to Gwendolyn M. Mallory; Ronald Broussard, Elsa Dixon, Donna Broussard, Craig McKinney, Karen McKinney, Rose Cloy and Walter Abrahams and a host of other relatives and friends.
