Judson E. Paul, age 70, passed away March 1, 2010, in Shoreline, Washington. A proud Tlingit Indian, Judson was born December 1, 1939 in Sitka, Alaska, and made his home in the Seattle Area for 45 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Gerry Paul of Shoreline, his son, Geoffrey Paul of Shoreline, his daughter, Andrea Paul Austin and son-in-law, Scott Austin of Bothell, his grandchildren, Elliot and Olivia Austin, and brothers, Ronald Paul and John Paul of Alaska. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Jud served in the U.S. Army before moving to Seattle. He was a member of Richmond Masonic Lodge 248, a Scottish Rite Mason, a member of the Nile Shrine, and Richmond Amaranth Court No. 72. He dedicated more than 20 years of his life to the Job's Daughters International in various leadership and volunteer positions. He was involved in Indian Guides and coached youth soccer. His greatest joy was his children, his grandchildren, his nieces and nephews, and all the young people who touched his life.
Jud's family offers his life as a testament to love and the example of perseverance.
