Katharine M. Ruddy, 93, of Redmond, WA, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014. She was born March 19, 1920 in Washington, DC the daughter of the late Thomas V. and Elizabeth (Ferguson) Murto. Katharine married Walter Ruddy on August 7, 1942. He preceded her in death on December 24, 1968. Katharine is survived by four children, James Ruddy, Nancy Richmond, Robert Ruddy and wife Lisa and John Ruddy and wife Corine Lesnes; eight grandchildren: Mary Katharine De Orio, Walter Ruddy, John Richmond, Gordon Richmond, Margaret Crane, Brendan Ruddy, Elizabeth Ruddy and Liane Ruddy, and two great-grandchildren Amalia Jane De Orio and Liberty Rose Richmond; brothers, Thomas V. Murto Jr., Robert E. Murto, Richard Murto and sister, Mary Anne Culliton.
