Kathleen “Kitty” Jackson, a member of St Bernadettes’s Church since 1968, passed away September 29, 2012 at the age of 82. She was born the 12th of 13 children in Elgin, North Dakota. She is survived by two brothers Joseph and Jerry Kain, two sister-in-laws Phyllis Kain and Carol Kain, son Robert Jackson, daughter Sharon Scheider, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Vernon Jackson, sons Michael and Timothy and ten siblings.
Kathleen will be remembered for being a caring and loving mother, grandmother and friend. She always put others before herself and her positive outlook was unwavering.
Her memorial service will be held at St. Burnadette’s Catholic Church in Burien, Washington on Monday, October 22, 2012 at 11:00am. Her final resting place will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
