Larry J. West, beloved husband and father, passed away October 12, 2006. Born April 22, 1941, Larry was a 1959 graduate of Roosevelt High School. He earned a BA and a Masters degree from Centeral Washington University. He also earned a Masters degree from Seattle University and was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, an international education honor society. Larry served as an educator and counselor in the Seattle Public Schools for twenty-five years at Wilson Junior High, West Seattle High School, and Franklin High School. Larry is survived by his wife Marlis, son Jeff and his wife Tiffany, and brother James. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or Medic One.
