

Lena Lee McClain-Pinchback was born to Norman M. McClain (deceased 1934) and Alma Ree Franks-McClain (deceased 1990) on June 8, 1930 in Lockhart, Texas. Love ones whom preceded her in home going include, her dad and mother; step-father; Arnold L. Roberts Jr., brother-in-laws; Joseph William Overall, Sr., Walter Beauchamp, Sr., Luther Jenkins, Sammy Taylor and nephews; Robert Flamingo Beauchamp and Charles Augustus Overall.
Lena Lee attended school in Fort Worth and Lockhart, Texas. On May 31, 1947, Lena Lee married her life partner, Julius Elihue Pinchback. In 1948 Lena Lee and Julius moved to Yakima, WA¦ they were married 65 years. Julius deceased May 1, 2013.
On April 18, 1951 they were overjoyed to have their one and only son; Julius Paul Pinchback. In 1955 Lena Lee and family relocated to Hill Field Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. The family returned to Washington State, Seattle in 1956.
Lena had the luxury of being a homemaker until 1967. In 1967 Lena Lee went to work for the Boeing Company. She and her sister Burnic retired together in 1991. Dayja Pinchback, one of Lena's great-granddaughters attended Madrona School, Lena was always volunteering. The principal and school district appreciated her service and employed her from 2003-2006.
In Lena and Julius spare time they enjoyed traveling. Lena loved spending time with her sisters, family and friends. She took pleasure in playing bid-whisk and dominoes. She loved chewing on ice; she would get a bowl of ice, grab her iron and ironing board, turn on her jazz music and get her groove on! She enjoyed dancing and partying. Lena and Julius took delight in having family barbecues and holiday dinners with family and friends.

(Cordell) Jones; and Major Leif Pinchback; 8 Great-grandchildren; 6 Great-great grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews; as well as Family and Friends in California, Oregon, Texas and Washington State.
