LeRoy Edward Schuchard

LeRoy Edward Schuchard, 94, of Bothell, WA, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017. He was born February 21, 1923 in Napoleon, ND, the son of the late Claus and Louisa (Fenske) Schuchard. LeRoy married Odelia "Tillie" Vetsch on July 5, 1944 in Napoleon, ND. She preceded him in death on December 7, 2006. He worked as a Dairy Plant Technician for Bill's Dairy in Bothell for 36 years. LeRoy was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Maltby. He enjoyed fishing and camping and was a Red Cross First Aid Instructor, volunteer firefighter in Woodinville, involved with Cub Scouts and was a foster parent for several children. LeRoy is survived by his three daughters, Delma Ofilas and husband Rick, Susan Morgan and Cynthia Smith and husband Ken; grandchildren, Laurie Morgan, Todd Smith and his wife Bonnie, Alex and husband Drew, Josh; two great-grandsons, Austin Farley and Jaden Smith. He was preceded in death by his grandson, James Morgan; brothers, Elmer, Alfred, Ervin, Clarence, Lewis, Lester, Leonard, Walter and Alvin; sisters, Irene and Ada. A viewing will be held from 1:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, November 24, 2017 at Lifetime Celebrations by Washelli, 18224 103rd Avenue NE, Bothell, WA 98011. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 9225 212th Street SE, Snohomish, WA. Committal service will follow at 2:00 pm at Floral Hills Cemetery, Lynnwood, WA.
