

Lois Ann Watkins, 82, was born on August 24, 1933 in Seattle, WA to Clyde Henry Steele and Trula Zine Steele. She died in Olympia, WA on August 7, 2016. She is survived by her daughters Trula (David) LeBleue of Shelton, WA, Carol Wachana of Stevenson, WA, Catherine Watkins of Edmonds, WA, and her son Russell (Lois) Watkins of Woodbridge, Virginia, as well as 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, her step-sisters Janet Martin and Norma (Albert) Hall and her step-brother Ronald Peterson. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph LeRoy Watkins, her son, Dale LeRoy Watkins, and her brother Frederic Steele.
Lois’ marriage of 62 years was filled with love, and family was the primary focus of her life. This focus on family led to her leading many youth groups which in turn led her to become very active in the community. She enjoyed She enjoyed surrounding herself with friends, whether it was hosting or attending Bridge or Pinochle games, or meeting up with them for square dancing. Always looking forward to meeting new people and enjoying life to the fullest, she traveled much of the globe, embracing the local arts and relishing in the beauty of the world.
