

Louis Daniel Renteria Jr., of Houston TX passed on to be with Our Lord, Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Belton Memorial Hospital in Belton MO. Louis was born December 15, 1969 in Houston TX to Gloria Villalobos (Reyna) and Louis Renteria Sr. of Houston TX.
After graduating high school, Louis enlisted in the US Army where he served as a Spc. (E4) 10 years in active duty from 1989 to 1999, including three years of foreign service in Germany and Korea and bravely served in the Liberation of Kuwait. Louis earned the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with Three Bronze Star, Army Service Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Kuwait Liberation Medal.
Louis moved to Yakima WA with his family in 2000, the year following being honorably discharged from the military. In 2009, Louis relocated to Kansas City, MO.
Louis spent the majority of his civilian years working in the beverage industry as a truck driver. Most recently, he worked for United Beverage in Kansas City MO where he lived with his long time girlfriend, Amy Coleman.
Louis was a devoted father, son and brother. He enjoyed bbq’ing, feeding neighborhood squirrels and birds, and sports of all kinds. He was a die hard Houston Texans, Rockets and Astros fan. Louis was a fun loving guy who was outgoing and made friends everywhere he went.
Louis is survived by his two children, Adrianna Marlene Renteria of Seattle WA and Donovan Russell, of Houston TX.
Brothers and sisters; Deborah Gonzales, Serena Luna, Mary Frances Renteria, Gloria Jean Renteria, Christina Sorola, Elizabeth Renteria, Gary Renteria, Jesus Renteria, and multiple nieces and nephews all of Houston TX.
Louis was preceded in death by his Mother, Gloria Villalobos, Father Louis Renteria Sr. and brother Martin Sorola of Houston TX.
