Lucille Hannah Simon

Lucille was born on September 3rd, 1938 to Goldie and John Mintz. Alongside her brothers David and Joseph, she grew up in the Cherry street and Montlake neighborhoods of Seattle attending Garfield High School and the University of Washington.

In 1960 Lucille met the love of her life Steven Simon. The two married and shared 64 amazing years together, raising three children, Suzanne, Ronald and Gary. Ronald sadly passed away in January 2019.

Suzanne married Gary Douglas Simon and they have three daughters: Rebecca who is married to Ariel Muller with a newborn daughter Talia. Dina who is attending medical school and Ilana who is a recent graduate from San Diego State University.

Ronald has one daughter Sarah who is living and working in New York. Gary Dean lives at home in Yarrow Point, Washington and works in an online business.

Lucille always had a great passion playing classical piano. In addition she found countless pleasure working with water color and in oil painting. Her soft spoken sweet nature made her a pleasure to be with wherever she went.

For traveling she looked forward to visiting close friends and family within Seattle and Vancouver B.C. Summer vacations always included the Oregon Coast for special enjoyment.
