
Mabel Nelson left this life to be with the Lord August 15 2001. Even a long struggle with illness that left her weak and bedridden could not take away her great outlook on life. Mabel never complained and felt life was good to her.
Mabel was born in N?ssj?, Sweden 1915. She left her homeland and came to Seattle, Washington 1950. She returned to Sweden 1952 and there she met Clarence Nelson who was visiting Sweden at that time. They both returned to United states and married in Seattle 1955.
Mabel and Clarence were both very active in the Swedish Club in Seattle and also in the First Covenant Church in Seattle. Mabel was always willing to help and usually gave older folks ride to the church on Sundays. Mabel?s great cooking skills were appreciated among her friends in Seattle as well as friends and relatives in Sweden.
Mabel and Clarence loved to travel and visited many far away places and brought home many pictures and stories. Mabel kept strong contact with her homeland Sweden and visited her siblings, nieces and nephews on several occasions.
Mabel was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Nelson, her parents Anna and Emil Cleasson, her two sisters Lily Wikenst?l and Siri Wickstr?m. Mabel is missed by her sister Alice Johansson and her brother Egon Cleasson, many
nieces and nephews in Sweden and United States, Ingvar and Torsten Wikenst?l, Bengt and B?rje Elmvret, Britta Myrin, Wicke Wickstr?m all from
Sweden, and also Kerstin Raye and her family Stan, Britta, and David from Montana. Friends Ella and Peter Reisenger and their son Hans-Peter
Reisenger.We miss you Minno'' and ''Mormor'' Mabel.
A memorial will take place at Hearthstone retirement home in Seattle, on Wednesday, September 5th, 2001 at 2 pm.
