Margaret was born to Devaney White (Block) and Lewis White on February 19, 1953 in Cominto, Arkansas. Much of her childhood was spent in Arkansas enjoying time with her siblings and many cousins or traveling the country as a Navy brat.
In 1989, Margaret married Rev. Charlie Paige III. They were happily married for 6 years until he succumbed to a sudden illness.
Earlier in life, in 1971, Margaret graduated from Chief Sealth High School awhile also completed one of the early computer programs of study at Seattle Central Community College. She used this experience to begin a 30 year career as an AS400 operator. During this time she primarily worked at Howard S. Wright, Physio Control(Medtronic), Stevedoring Services of America and Guy Carpenter Inc., which she retired from in 2007.
Margaret enjoyed being around people, long car rides/trips, and seeing animals. One of her favorite places was the Renton Senior where she was a member of their “bean-bag baseball” team.
One of the most important things throughout Margaret’s life was her relationship with Christ and her church family. Since the 1980’s Margaret attended, Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. One of the blessing of her later life was being able to view and participate services from the comfort of her home. For her, Sunday was always the Lord’s day.
Margaret’s memory will be forever be in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She is survived by her son Jonathan, aunt Katherine(Richard) Franklin of Detroit, MI, siblings Barbara Robinson of Springfield, IL, Freddie of Seattle, WA, Linda of Renton, WA, David (Margheta) of Everett, WA, and Charles Jr of Seattle, WA and a host of loving friends and family.
Due to the current pandemic, Private Services will be held.
