Marguerite and her twin sister, Marianne, were born on May 30, 1934, to parents James and Helen Laskares. Marguerite passed away peacefully in her home at Northaven Assisted Living on August 8, 2024. Marguerite lived her life in service to others. She was a Nurse, Author, Lecturer, and Educator who impacted the lives of many children in the U.S. (WA, CA, OR, Alaska, the South), and in Africa and South America, where she helped develop preschools and train teachers.
Marguerite is survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, and wonderful friends.
Funeral Service to be held Wednesday, August 14, 10:00AM; Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 19421 Ashworth Ave N. Shoreline. Burial following, Evergreen Memorial Park.
