Mark Allan Mannhalt was born in Seattle on April 23rd, 1964 to Sandra and Guenter Mannhalt. He was a kindred soul with an infectious smile that lit up the room. He was passionate throughout his life about lighthouses as they served as a beacon of inspiration for his life’s ambitions. He was a devoted fan of the Seattle Seahawks and threw the best Super Bowl parties. He loved going to WSU football games with family and cheering on the Cougars (hehe) and of course the Huskies, too. He enjoyed listening to smooth jazz and swaying to the groove but on the same note, would play his EDM loud enough for the neighborhood to enjoy. Family was dear to him, demonstrated through his daily actions of selflessness and love. Mark loved to take his four children on road trips around the United States to teach them about the country we live in. He enjoyed making memories that will live on through the ones he loved. He is survived by his friend Albert, his partner in crime of 35 years Tami, his children Sarah (Mu), Meghan (Tyler), Jacob (Emma), and Joshua (Anna). As well as two grandchildren from his eldest daughter, Sarah, Jenna and Samiya. He is survived by his siblings Rebecca, David (Leah), and Gregory (Jennifer), in addition to an aunt, nephews, nieces, and many cousins. Papa Bear will forever be in our hearts. Mark has gone to be with the angels on April 19th, 2020. He is in the arms of his parents in Heaven. Donations can be made to the American Heart Association in his honor. “Alexa, I’m ten minutes out”. L&MH.
