Martha Elizabeth Scott Osborne, 93, passed away December 9, 2017, in Mill Creek, WA. She was born September 29, 1924, in Omaha, NE to David and Alice (Wilcox) Scott. Martha was a member of Haller Lake United Methodist Church, a 40-year member of Peter Puget Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, she belonged to several genealogical societies and was an honorary life member of the Seattle Genealogical Society.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, sister Annabelle Smith, infant brother David, step-mother Zelma Scott, and grandson Brent Masters. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, B. Wayne Osborne, daughters: Rev. Carolyn (Ken) Peacock of London, OH; Maxine (Bruce) Masters of Tulsa, OK; Barbara Osborne of Mill Creek, WA, sister Nina (Ken) Clark of Mullen, NE, 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, 4 nephews and 1 niece.
Visitation will be held at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home Seattle (11111 Aurora North, Seattle 98133) Friday, December 15, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 am with burial to follow at Abbey View Cemetery (3601 Alaska Road, Brier 98036). A memorial service will be held that same afternoon at 3:00 pm at Haller Lake United Methodist Church (13055 First Avenue NE Seattle 98125) with Pastor Austin Adkinson officiating.
