Mary E. Pounds passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday evening March 27, 2012. She was born in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas on May 12, 1922 to Harry and Nellie Cooke.Mary moved to Seattle and went to work at Boeing during the war. She married Stan Pounds and they had 25 years together before Stan passed away in 1976. Mary enjoyed many outdoor activities including having a garden, both vegetable and flower, golf, and taking walks. She is survived by her son Dave Pounds and his wife, Ginny. Her daughter Jo Barr and her husband, Jim. Her grandchildren, Jennifer Chi(Jerry), Erin, Jake(Denise), Debbie(Dave), Josh(Colette), also her two great-granddaughters, Hailey Chi and Emily Pounds.She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
