Mary Louise Sims (Spivey) born January 11, 1949, in Ruston, Louisiana, to parents Arsula Davis and Sam Spivey Jr., passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025 in Seattle, Washington. Raised by her mother and grandmother Lillie Williams, she displayed her innate creativity early. She loved to sing, dance, and sew. She later moved to Seattle with her brother George and built a beautiful community. Her love for music was evident in her beautiful voice and taste. She also enjoyed being with friends, shopping and sitting on the porch and enjoying the weather. Mary will be reunited in heaven with her parents, sister Lanitha and her three brothers, John Wesley, George, and Andre. She leaves behind her daughters Ilonda Palacios (Sims) and Veniacha Sims, her step daughter Della Caver, her sister Patricia Whitlock, her grandchildren Ellison, Ava and Kingston, and a whole host of family and friends.
