Stan was the last of his generation and went to be with our Lord so willingly while surrounded by his family. His legacy is one of kindness. He was always there to lend a hand to anyone. He grew up the youngest of 4 in Friday Harbor. He met Carol Nicholson in Friday Harbor as children and she became his bride right before he shipped out on the USS Marathon for duty in WWII. By the grace of God he survived the war and raised 2 daughters, Janet & Charlene. He had a wonderful marriage & life. He always put family and friends first, wanting more for others than himself. He loved his family, but most of all, his wife Carol. Our family that are left here on earth are so happy knowing our dad and grandfather is now in Heaven with the love of his life, Carol. In the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, DOBRO DAN. Survived by daughters, Janet and Charlene; grandchildren, Michelle, Jenny, Bonnie and Henry;
great-grandchildren, Shelby, Jenna and Isabelle.
