He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert Hoff.
Michael is survived by his wife, Marlene Hoff; daughter, Lori Barlow (Jeff); son, Jacob Hoff; and granddaughter, Randi Barlow.
Michael served two years in the US Army. After returning home he went back to work for Safeway and married Marlene. They were married on June 3, 1967.
Michael worked at Safeway and retired after 38 years. After retiring, Michael went on to do handyman jobs for local people and became a part time employee at Paradise Pet Lodge for his remaining years. Mike also loved to garden and work in the yard in his later years. Mike and Marlene spent their retired years together at their home in Maltby growing way too many tomatoes for two people to eat. He loved his family, friends and fantasy football.
