Mignon Louise Morrow

Mignon was born on July 25, 1951 to Walter and Iris in Seattle, Washington. She graduated from Renton High School in 1969 and went on to study at Puget Sound Christian College and later California State University, Sacramento graduating in 1977. She also took classes at several community colleges graduating from Seattle Central Community College in 2008.

Mignon was a lifelong student and enjoyed taking classes and learning. She had training in multiple areas including social and human services, psychology and childhood education. She enjoyed children and was a creative story teller. Mignon read extensively and when she was younger could be found walking to the bus reading her book. She enjoyed doing crafts including jewelry making and writing poetry.

She is survived by her husband Daniel Berry and her father Walter Jones. In addition, she is survived by a multitude of siblings, extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Iris Herring.

A memorial service for Mignon will be held Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, Washington 98133.
