Mildred Violet ATKINSON, age 97, of Seattle, passed away on October 16, 2003. She was born on November 28, 1905 in Talihina, Oklahoma. Mildred worked for the Douglas Aircraft Company in Oklahoma during World War II. She came to Seattle in 1949 and worked for Boeing until retiring after many years of service. Mildred is survived by her son, John P. Atkinson & wife Dee, of Seattle; daughters, Mary R. Prichard & husband Kenneth, of Renton, Barbara B. Mills, of Seattle, Mildred F. Dixon, of Spokane, sister, Dorothy Hunt, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends. Mildred was preceded in death by her husband Arius in 1983. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, October 20, 2003 at the Philadelphia Church, 7704 ? 24th Ave. N.W., Seattle, 98117.
