

Nancy resided for most of her life in Shoreline, Washington. However, she and her mother and brother Richard spent their high school years in Southern California. She attended Newport High School her freshman year, and then attended Garden Grove High School where she graduated. She enjoyed going to the beach and working at Disneyland the first year it opened. After high school Nancy went onto beauty school and became a hairdresser, which she practiced in the profession for 50 years. She traveled Europe with her first husband Gary while they were stationed in Germany. And later moved back to the states, divorced and lived with her grandparents in the Greenwood area.
She met and married Richard W. Lund on December 19th, 1964.They had two children Jill and Jon and and settled in Shoreline, Washington.
Nancy enjoyed many things including; knitting, crocheting, tole painting, playing solitaire and King's in the Corner, coloring in her color books, sewing, and other crafts. She enjoyed working in her yard, she had quite a green thumb, spending time with her grandsons, great-grandchildren and her beloved dog Cassie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Richard and her son Jon.
She survived by her brothers Gilbert(Sharon) LeVander of Boney Lake, Wash., Richard(Marcella) Green of Mercer Island, Wash., her daughter Jill(Lynn) Peterson of Brookings, Oregon, her grandsons; Dylan Lund, Jeremy and Joshua Peterson, Scott and Cameron Lund, great-granddaughter Kendall and great-grandson Jameson. Along with many other special people that have touched our lives.
Cremation has taken place and no services will be held per her request. Donations made to the COPD Foundation in her name.
