On October 6, 2012, Nancy Lane Pelly passed away peacefully at the age of 98 at Seattle's Horizon House. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Francis Pelly, and was the loving mother of Wendy (Michael Flannery) and Nancy (Bryan Pye).
Surviving her death, are her grandchildren, Patricia Daugherty, Laura McNay, BJ Pye and Jen Carter and great grandchildren Amanda and Justin Daugherty, Eli and Kylie McNay, Charlotte, Jack and Jesse Pye.
She belonged to the Sunset Club, Seattle Tennis Club, Seattle Golf Club, the Junior League, and the Arboretum. She enjoyed volunteering at the Children's Orthopedic Hospital and being a Girl Scout leader. Her interests included tennis, swimming, golf, playing bridge, walking, and gardening.
