It was a shock to read of Nancy's passing.  Much too soon!  I was in the RHS class of '54 with Nancy. We shared September birthdays.  We also shared events through high school such as Burgermasters, Young Life, and trips with friends. One I have never forgotten was a trip to the Western Washington Fair at Puyallup.  As we walked the Midway, I won Nancy a cute little stuffed poodle dog with a chain leash. I go to those fairgrounds regularly and each time remember that day. Our ways parted after high school but I remember her as a wonderful person. My sincere condolences go to her family.

I have wonderful memories of Nancy.  She was my best friend for many years.  Our families were close, and we did many trips and celebrations together.  I will miss her and will fondly remember her always.

With deepest sympathies and fond memories.  The Rybocks lived across the street from us on 29th in Seattle.  I used to babysit both boys when they were little.  Both Nancy & Peter taught classes I took.

Kenny and Paul,  my mom told me about Nancy's passing. My condolences to you.  I have so many memories of your mother--her tan, strong legs in her golf skirt, the car rides up skiing with her jabbering (with my mom) in the front seat, her playful demeanor, her love of history and the pride and love she had for her kids. All my best to you.

Strenuous Life staff, where she was layout editor.   Having moved to the midwest in the early 60's we lost track of each other,  but our lives did have some common threads.  May her soul rest in peace.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Nancy.  I will always remember her great sense of humor and zest for life.  I observed these qualities while working with her, and most vividly on the many ski trips we took with freiends.  My thoughts are with you Kenny and Paul.

For several years, in the fall, Nancy made me part of her lesson plan in U.S. History.  She knew that my first ancestors on this continent were Hessian mercenaries fighting for the British, and they were not returned to Europe after the redcoats lost the "skirmish in the colonies."  So, to put a bit of reality in the story for her students, she had them come to me and find out more about the Hessians.  I never heard a student complaint about her; I know that the kids really respected her for her knowledge of U.S. history and for her teaching style.  It was a pleasure to spend time with her in the lounge during our common free time, usually doing the crossword puzzle together before school started.

Best wishes to Nancy's sons and to other members of her family. We are neighbors on 29th Ave NE. Nancy and Pete were great neighbors. We miss them. RIP.

Nancy is related to me by her grandmother,  my aunt Annie from Norway. Have several pictures of her as a young woman in my parent's family album. Beautiful woman. I wish I would have known her.

The Rybocks lived on our street and I babysat Paul and Kenny for years.  I remember their dog too. When I was a youth  I found a kitten.  My parents would not let me keep it so Nancy took it.  One Easter the boys received a bunny  but they were too young to keep it so Nancy gave it to me.  She was always kind and apparently loved animals.

I hope you boys are doing well.

I was in one of her first classes at Eckstein and she was only 8 years older than me but she was an adult!  Nancy had gone to school with my older brother and sister at RHS.  Right from the start she knew how to inspire kids, I loved her class in 8th grade American History.  There are a lot of people out in the world today that understand history better because of her. I just got a posting on Facebook from another person that was in her class with me.

I was in 1 of her classes at Ingraham back in 75-76. She was awesome! RIP Nancy.
