Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather, passed away Dec 29, 2007. Paul was born in Lewistown, Montana to Frank K. and Misao Minato, the second youngest of 5 children. He graduated in 1942 from Broadway High School where he met Yoshiko Tsuji, his future wife and partner in life for 62 years. Later in the year, he was interned during World War II, with his family to the Minidoka Relocation Center in Hunt, Idaho.
He served in the U.S. Army in Military Intelligence toward the end of the war. After the war he married Yoshiko and had 3 children--Paula, Bob & Bill--and three grandchildren--Jodi, Derek and Teal.
Paul led an active life, enjoying bowling, fishing, coaching baseball and basketball, golfing, dancing and pickleball. He had a special place in his heart for young children.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, January 5th, at the Japanese Baptist Church, 160 Broadway. Reception following at the Church. Burial at Evergreen Washelli Cemetary, 11111 Aurora Avenue North.
